Sven Anders is an Associate Professor of Applied Economics and Consumer Marketing. His research interests lie in the economics of vertical agri-food supply chains and retailing markets. Dr. Anders past and current research has focused on the application of quantitative research methods to the analysis of consumer perceptions, attitudes and behaviors on product and scenario choice decisions. Recent collaborative projects are investigating household responses and willingness to adopt alternative and renewable energy technologies under different market configurations and with an explicit focus on the evaluation of the impacts of belief systems, energy knowledge and understanding and political orientations on the adoption decision process.
